1-54 Paris at Christie’s: 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair

LouiSimone Guirandou Gallery is pleased to announce its participation in the second edition of the contemporary African art fair 1-54, in Paris from April 7 to 10, 2022. The gallery will present works by Ange Dakouo and Sess Essoh.

Both artists engage in an analytical dialogue about the fragility of the world. Each, anchored in different backgrounds and cultures, they show us however a proximity of interpretation of the mutation of our contemporary societies and share their concerns with us as to "the march of the world", while keeping their idealistic energy: the one by narrating a revisited history, the other by protecting us through an inner march.
