Between mystical revelation and prophetic pain, the work draws us into a subterranean space—witness to a troubling birth. In this oppressive cave, a curled-up figure is revealed under a blinding light. The moment is suspended, marked by a painful realization: the Apocalypse begins. The humanoid creature seems startled by the piercing light that captures the instant of its arrival. Its red skin, elongated fingers and ears heighten its strangeness, while the beaded cowrie shell headdress evokes ancestral rituals—as if its existence stemmed from a forgotten tradition or a long-silenced prophecy. The chromatic tension between the creature’s glowing red body and the cavern’s cold green hues adds to the scene’s dramatic intensity. This is no comforting birth—it is an unsettling emergence, heavy with signs and omens.
