IN IVORY COAST, THE CONTEMPORARY ART GALLERY LOUISIMONE GUIRANDOU PRESENTS TWO EXHIBITIONS 100% ONLINE

Simone Guirandou-N'Diaye, art historian, created in 2015 a new space for avant-garde African artists. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, exhibits are visible on the intemet.
As part of the 13th edition of the contemporary art fair Art Joburg ETF(from 6 to 18 November 2020), LowSimone Guirandou gallery offers the exhibition Racines. The artists Dimbeng (Ivory Coast), NB Barreto (Guinea Bissau) and N'Doye Douts (Senegal) address through their works the themes of uprooting, separation and the sufferings of exile. -Abandonment and renunciation are subjects discussed alongside the hope and desire for a better lifer explains the gallery.
NU Barreto and two other artists, Ablade Glover (Ghana) and Sess Essoh (Ivory Coast), are also presented by the gallery on the occasion of the 5th edition of ART X Lagos, the international art fair of West Africa (from November 6 to 22, 2020) ...
