Alhassane Konté (Lass) Mali, b. 1993

Lass takes us into this other world, that of the Savages of Aldous Huxley's novel, deeply attach to human values, thanks to their feelings, who embrace nature as their primordial source of happiness.

Starting from the observation that scientific positivism without conscience can only lead humanity towards authoritarian political systems or towards the imposition of sanitary diktats, as we are currently experiencing, Lass takes us into this other world, that of the Savages of Aldous Huxley's novel "Brave New World", who are the only characters deeply attach to human values, thanks to their feelings, and to embrace nature as the primordial source of happiness. The children of Lass paintings, with their carefree nature and fundamental freedom, are the guardians of these values represented here by flowers. They protect them from dangers and perpetually help each other in order to preserve the world peacefulness and its survival, while carrying this harmony as a universal model.
